Temple Hoyne Buell was a major architectural visionary and developer in the Denver metro area.  He was born in 1895 in Chicago, Illinois.

He studied architecture at the University of Illinois then pursued graduate studies at the Columbia University.  He served in WWI and was gassed on the battlefield.  This led to him being diagnosed with tuberculosis.  He moved to Denver in 1821 for health reasons.
