The Maruro Martinez stadium is at Weld Central High School, the high school I graduated from in 1987.
Thank you Jessica Beach for making this memorial stadium possible to honor a hero like Mauro Martinez. I had never known of Mauro Martinez when I attended Weld Central but feel so honored to have attended the same school he did. He died before I was born but no matter, he is a Marine who died to save his buddy. Thank you Maruro for serving your country and giving the ultimate sacrifice for your nation.
